Junior Colloquy

The Department has been organizing an All Kerala Commerce Fest for Higher Secondary students with the aim of providing a platform for students to showcase their talents, build confidence and network with peers, creating a well-rounded educational experience.


Senior Colloquy

Senior Colloquy is an inter-collegiate commerce fest organized by the Department of Commerce since 2000. The fest is characterized by a diverse set of competitions, including case studies and strategy games, which challenges students’ analytical and decision -making skills.


National Research Paper Presentation Competition

The Department also organizes a “National Research Paper Presentation Competition” for motivating students to engage in serious research.


Shastrapadam – 3 Day Camp

The college Education Department of Kerala in collaboration with the Higher Secondary Department of Kerala organized “Shastrapadam”, the three day camp for selected students of various schools. The Department of Commerce hosted the programme for selected students of various schools at Kottayam District.

These sessions helps to equip students with necessary skills to utilize the software effectively for data analysis.

  • Post Payment Bank Account Creation

This approach aims to streamline the process and encourage people to become part of the formal banking system, promoting financial literacy and access to various banking services.

  • Campaign on Financial Awareness and Capability Building among Kudumbashree Members

The campaign aims to empower members with the essential financial knowledge and skills, enabling them to effectively manage their finances. The campaign seeks to equip members with the necessary tools to make informed decisions regarding savings, investments and borrowing.
