The Department of Management Science is the first self-financing Department of the college at the undergraduate level. The BBA Programme was launched in 2003. As a new generation programme, it has on-the-job training, Industrial visits etc. as part of its curriculum.
The Department has been producing good academic results by securing couple of ranks in university examinations. Many of our students are well placed through campus selection. The students won laurels and prizes in various intercollegiate competitions.
The department follows the great tradition of upward academic mobility of yester-years as many of the students secure admission for higher studies in institutions of goodwill in India and abroad in business-related disciplines and get placed in financial firms as well.
The department has introduced SAP-FICO(Germany) and TALLY PRIME as a part of curriculum with the technical support of G-tec (ISO 9001: 2015 certified),which enables the students to compete for international placements. In addition, special hours for co-curricular activities and personality thrust on interview skills, group discussions, language skills etc. Another highlight is a free Add on course on Portfolio and Investment Management. The special department level that has been started enables the students to share their grievences and for the faculty,to understand their wards and to enrich their co-curricular skills.
