The Department of Zoology came into existence in 2001 with the introduction of Graduate Programme in Zoology (B.Sc.). In the year 2013, the Department was upgraded to Post Graduate Department and the Master’s Programme in Zoology with specialization in Fishery Science commenced. Through the years, the department has offered various skill based certificate programs.
